ABOUT ME

I graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Translation Studies, Linguistics and Cultural Studies in Germersheim with a diploma in French & Spanish conference interpreting. I left Germany in the spring of 2009 for a one-year contract in the southwest of France… and stayed until 2018! I lived and worked in both Carcassonne and Quimper before moving on to spend several years in Toulouse.

In my first two jobs, I worked as an intercultural teamer and interpreter for French and German or European projects, with a special focus on international exchanges and training courses. Next I decided to return to my linguistic roots and began to work as a technical translator in the aeronautical industry. In 2016, I changed sectors and began to work for an e-commerce start-up. At the same time, I began to establish myself as a freelance translator. Since I’ve returned to Germany, I’ve been working as a freelance translator and interpreter from my office, which is located in the Rhineland-Palatinate region.
